Peter Murphy is a dedicated Canadian railway enthusiast and long-time volunteer with the Canadian Railroad Historical Association (CRHA), where he serves as President of the Membership Committee.

He spent many years contributing to Canadian Rail, the CRHA’s bi-monthly magazine, serving as Co-Editor and Production Manager. During the 2000s, he oversaw 104 issues – reflecting his strong commitment to preserving Canada’s railway heritage.

As the Membership Committee President, Peter Murphy has helped strengthen member engagement and broaden the reach of the CRHA’s publications.
