Lyall Seale, who researched and compiled “P/O Keith Proverbs: Out Of Tragedy Came Advances in Air Safety and Science“, is the son of one of Keith’s first cousins, Nell Seale (née: Proverbs).

Lyall Seale was born and grew up in Barbados, leaving in 1964 to study in the UK. He worked as a chartered civil and environmental engineer in the UK and several parts of the world, including Barbados. In the early 1970s Lyall worked on the Bridgetown Sewerage project.

Lyall visits Barbados annually with his wife Cathryn (Peterkin of Rockley) to see their families and friends.
