Jan Weel (nee Pemberton) was born and grew up in Barbados. Jan is a mother to two daughters, grandmother, author and teacher. She lives in Greater Toronto, Canada.
Her father was Canon Frank Pemberton. Her mother was Elaine Davis.
Jan Weel is a Christian spiritual guide with 26 years’ experience in accompanying and guiding Christian women from a wide variety of Christian denominations on their individual spiritual journeys. She is the founder of the website a: A Clear Path to God (2022) and the author of How I Learned to Let God Find Me in the Good Times and the Bad: A Spiritual Memoir (2018). Jan is also a member of the Institute of Christian Formation (1984) at St. Benedict’s Monastery, Winnipeg, Canada, and a teacher of contemplative prayer.
Jan graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology, English, and Ancient History from Durham University, England (1969) and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (with Distinction) from the London Montessori Centre, England (1984).
